I would like to take this time to welcome all
students and parents to Clinton High School. I am a Red Tornado tried and true, having been at CHS in the capacity of student, teacher, coach, assistant principal and now principal.  I graduated from Clinton High School in 1973 and attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a bachelors in physical
education. I earned my masters in Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2006.  I started my teaching and coaching career at Clinton Junior High in 1978, teaching American History.  During my 31 years I have taught and coached at Marlow, Calumet, Lexington and three times at Clinton.  I have served as head wrestling coach for 28 years and aslo coached football,
baseball, golf and track.
In 1981 I married Carolyn Moore, from Comanche, Oklahoma and have spent 29 wonderful years together.  We have been blessed with two children.  Our daughter Megan is a 2004 Clinton graduate, and earned her bachelor degree in kinesiology from ECU.  She is married and presently teaches and coaches at Roff, Ok.  Ryan also graduated from Clinton 2010.  He is a red shirt freshman at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and is studing Kinesiolgy and plays quarterback on the football team.  Our family enjoys sports, spending time together and traveling.
I look forward to working with the students, parents and staff at Clinton High school.  It is a tremendous opportunity to have a chance to impact today's students and help them prepare to become productive citizens in our community.  The town of Clinton has truly been a blessing for me and my family and I LOVE the Red Tornadoes.

GO-GO-GO
